Good lord, it's been *how* long since I've posted?? I deeply, humbly and totally apologise for ignoring you all for months :-) Life has been busy and I've not been online much. I shall make an effort to catch up with everything I missed!

Fair enough....I procrastinated long enough, time to post the first message on this journal.

I joined LJ in the days when there was no pollution, paint was still made with lead and climate change meant adding more logs to the fire in your living room...So, yes, quite a while ago. That would also explain my username (I was young and foolish) but it meant something to me at the time. My yahoo chat ID (because yes, I was that much of a geek) was the same but I reconsidered that once the lewd suggestions (apparently having 'girl' in your ID is enough to bring out all the loonies from giggling academies all across the world) started to outnumber the decent conversations by about 1 to 15. Even the hardiest of gamblers would throw in the towel at those odds, I wager.

I am quite a private person but willing to share should the need arise :-) I try and write but am better at scrunching up the paper in disgust and flinging it in the bin.I like wine, travel, poetry, literature,cats and fast cars. I loathe narrow mindedness and bigotry. Oh, and cutting your pizza using scissors. It is unhygienic FFS!! I am a vegetarian but not an ecomentalist and I do not knit my own yoghurt.
